Ready for summer

So we have had some excitement the past few months. My sister got engaged at thanksgiving and is getting married July 24, 2011. The 4 of us are in the wedding. Alli is so excited.
Two days before Christmas mike and I found out we are exacting baby number 3 at the end of Aug. We are very excited! Of course we are hoping for a baby boy but will be happy with another little girl.
Alli turned 5 in Dec. We got here a puppy. She loves him so much. She named him Max. She had a fantastic birthday.
Christmas was wonderful and the girls got so much stuff.
The girls are doing fantastic. Alli is still taking gymnastics and just started taking taekwondo. She is going to be in her first competition in two weeks. She is so excited. Brooke is doing very well in school. She is super excited about the baby. She asks me on a daily basis when the baby is going to be here.

Many months of catching up!

Hey everyone. Sorry for the delay in postings. I really need to get a new computer at home. Well let's see what has happened since May.

We had a great summer. At the end of may we went to Florida with my whole family. We had a blast and the girls loved the beach and the ocean. The ask everyday when we get to go back. It was pretty laid back and everyone got along so well. Great way to start the summer.

At the end of June we made our summer trip to Lena to visit some awesome friends. As usual it was a great time. Looking forward to next year.

In July we welcomed our nephew Jack Michael. Mike and I are proud godparents of this little guy. He is so cute and his big sister loves him very much.

Aug was not so great for me. Both girls started school. Little sad that my baby is now in school. Mike went on his canoe trip and came back with a pretty nasty gash on his foot that really needed about 10 stitches. That next week I got bit by a spider and it turned into a very nasty painful infection. I was admitted to the hospital for a week but am doing well now. That same week my grandpa passed away and I had to miss the funeral due to being in the hospital. We have gotten through all that and hopefully on to a normal routine again.
Sept. has been calm. The girls are loving school and doing well. Alli started gymnastics and loves it. She is learning very quickly and we are so proud of her. She is still riding horses and is still very obsessed with them. Brooke is growing like a weed. She is really becoming her own little person. She certainly has a temper when things don't go her way. She still love babies so much and now has become fascinated with frogs and dinosaurs.
Well, Oct is busy. we are starting out with the fall festival so we are excited for that.
I hope everyone had a great summer.

April

Well it has been a jam packed month. I finally have some pictures to post of Brooke's birthday.

The girls had a big Easter. Lots of eggs and Candy. It was a busy weekend. Good Friday was Mike's sister's birthday and His cousin Averi's 4th birthday party. Saturday was Averi and Abi's Baptism. Mike is Averi's Godfather. Then we had church and two families to visit on Easter Sunday. Needless to say the girls were wore out Monday.

We had the Guns and Hoses Charity fight this month as well. The firefighters won again this year but the Police officers put up a good fight. The event raised $75,000 for charity. It was a blast.

The next weekend we finally refinished our floors. I am so happy with the way they turned out. Everyone did a really great job.
Alli is still taking her riding lessons and loving it. She is also doing very well in school. Brooke is getting more and more of her own personality everyday. They are very excited for our trip to Floriday at the end of May. As Brooke says "Is is time to go to the lotion yet?" We haven't really figured out why she can't say ocean but it is pretty cute.

Spring is here

Wow I didn't realize how long it has been since my last post. The day after my last post I ended up becoming a victim of the economy cut backs and lost my job. I am currently at home with my girls and loving every minute of it.
Alli is still taking riding lessons and doing fantastic. I will post more pictures when i get them downloaded. She just had spring break and is finishing up her school year.
Miss Brooke just had her 3rd birthday March 21st. We had a beautiful day for her party and she had a blast. Her ladybug party was a hit.
Mike and I are doing great. He has been very busy the past few weeks. They had a major bust last week. Almost 1100 lbs of marijuana!! Pretty impressive. He also went fishing with his dad a brother and caught some pretty nice fish. I am sure most of you have already seen the pictures.
Getting ready to do some work on the house in the next week. Carpet is coming out and Hardwood floors are going to be refinished. Very excited about this.
Getting ready for a beautiful Easter weekend. Hope everyone has a great holiday.

Happy New Year

Hello everyone,

Sorry it has been a little bit since my last post. I hope everyone had a great NewYear's and it has started out with a bang. We had a great time hangin out with family and friends.

We had a little bit of snow for the kids to play in this month. It was cold but they loved it.

Brooke also got to meet her new cousin for the first time. She had a nasty cold when Ellie was born so she had to wait. Of course she didn't want to put her down or leave her side once she was there.
Alli was able to take her first riding lesson this past week and she did awesome. She was really a big girl even though she looks so small up there. She loved it and wants to go back everyday.
All in all the new year is treating us well.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone. I hope every had a great Christmas, I know we did. It sure was busy though.

We are proud to announce that Mike and I have a new niece as of Dec. 21st. Her name is Ellie Suzann. She weighed 8lbs, 3oz. She is beautiful and looks just like Katelyn did when she was born. Jenni and the baby are doing well. It was a great christmas present for the Bishop family.

More baby news...I can now announce that my brother and his wife are expecting their second child at the beginning of Aug. We are very excited about this. Little Amelia is going to be a great big sister (as long as grandma doesn't hold the new baby...lol)

Christmas was great. The girls received so many new toys. Brooke is in heaven with all the new babies and accessories she has now. Alli got new items for her horse room and she also got riding lessons from Santa. We were able to start them this week due to the cold. Hopefully in the next couple weeks though. I will have to post some pictures soon.

Hope everyone has a safe and Happy New year.

Talk to ya in 2010.

It certainly has been awhile since my last post. We have been very busy around our house. We had a great Thanksgiving. This past week we celebrated our 5th anniversary. We mad it to the first big milestone I guess. We did actually go out this year. With Alli's birthday the same day we have kind of put it off and made over her but this year we went out. We just went to the Olive Garden and then had some drinks. It was relaxing and a good time. The next week we had Miss Alli's big 4th birthday horse party. On her birthday (11th) we took her to lunch and to see the Princess and the Frog. It was a very cute movie. Sat we had her party at my mom and dad's. We had horses everywhere. She was super excited and I think everyone had a good time. We are now gearing up for the next two weeks of chaos.

Mike and I will have a new niece or nephew no later than the 21st. Mike's brother Matt and his wife are expecting their third child this week. If the baby isn't here by the 21st the Dr will induce. So a wonderful little Christmas present for all the Bishop's is on it's way.
Alli received her first report card from school last month and she did very well. We have her first Christmas program on Friday.
Brooke is now talking up a storm and still loving the baby dolls. She will sit and talk to them for hours.
Nothing else really to report. I will write again after Christmas and let you all know about the good news.
I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas!

Alli's surgery

Well Alli made it through surgery with flying colors. She hasn't been complaining of pain that much until today. Perfectly normal and we expected it to start getting bad the 3rd or 4th day. The real problem we are having right now is that she cannot sleep. She is so tired but her body will just not shut down. We thought it was from the medicine but the dr seems to think it is from the pain.
We have about 7 more days til she starts feeling better. At least that is what the dr is telling us.

Thanks for all the prayers everyone

What a week

Well the festival has ended and I have to say even with all the rain this week it was a great week. Our little Quack Pac won the Pet Parade. It was a lot of fun. The girls are so proud of their metals. We are thinking of ideas for next year now.

My mom did her first half marathon yesterday. She did great. She walked and finished it in 3:14. I am so proud of her. we are trianing for another one that the proceeds go to the American Diabetes Association. It is April 11, 2010. Hopefully my dr will clear me and I will be able to start training as well.

Hunter has now been on 4 billboards around town. he is on the far right. (Mike has only been on one)

Alli surgery is tomorrow. i am sure everything is going to go well but we will let everyone know for sure.

Alli Boo Update

Hello everyone,

Well the Fall Festival has kicked off and has been going strong. Yesterday was disappointing for the kids with special needs. Due to the rain the Nut Club has to cancel the special needs day. The nut club did take prizes and cotton candy to the schools that afternoon though which I am sure the kids enjoyed.

My girls, along with my niece and some of my brother's friend's kiddos are going to be in the pet parade on Sat. I am very excited to share pictures of that day. I think everything will be so cute. The name of our float is the "Quack Pack"

We took Alli to the ENT yesterday. We have been having some issues with her throat. Dr. Finch took one look at her throat and said that her tonsils were nasty and very large and needed to come out. She said they couldn't wait to get them out, so Alli is scheduled for surgery next Tues. the 13th. I think that she will do just fine. The surgery is only about 30 mins. Dr. Finch said she would be down about 8-10 days and i just laughed. i will believe it when I see it.

Brooke is hanging in there. Not sick so far. Her nose is healing just fine. She is getting a little bossy right now. She won two fish at the festival the other day. Alli won one too. So we will see how long our 3 additions survive.

Well, I will update on Sat after the parade and certainly after Alli's surgery.

Happy Fall everyone.

Wow, it has been awhile

Wow, I just realized how long it has been since I have updated my blog. Well since my last post in Aug we haven't had a whole lot happen. Alli is enjoying school very much. Every week it is so exciting to what she has learned. I have seen her mature so much in the past month and half. We are starting to plan her big HORSE party for her 4th birthday in December. She is very excited about this. She is now telling everyone she is getting a real horse for her birthday. I hope she will settle for a bike instead.

Brookie Boo has really come into her own this past month or so. She is very laid back and is concerned about everything. Her big thing right now if Mike or I lay our phones down she picks them up and brings them to us saying "here is your phone" It is actually kind of cute the way she says it. she still doesn't understand why she doesn't get to go to school with Alli. I enjoy being able to spend a couple hours a week with just Brooke though. We are praying that Brooke doesn't have a winter like last one. Everyone keep their fingers crossed.

I turned 32 at the beginning of Sept. Mike did some landscaping for me. It was very nice. Mike is staying busy at work.

Oct. is going to be a busy month. Next week is the Fall Festival so we are excited about that. Can't wait for the food. At the end of the month we have some good friends who are getting married. Long time coming for them. Mike and I are both in the wedding. I think it is going to be a great time.

Hope everyone is doing well.

1st Day of School!!

Well, this week Alli started preschool and did absolutely great. So far she is loving every minute of it. Monday we took her to her classroom and she actually told me "Mommy I am ready for you to leave now." We had only been there maybe a minute. I was very proud of her. Honestly it made it easier for mommy too. Mike won't admit it but I think he was a little sad that our baby was going to school too. Anyway, on Monday they learned the letter A and Wednesday they learned all about the color Red. Hopefully her enthusiasm will continue.

Summer's coming to an end

Well, summer has flown by. Mike survived another annual canoe trip a couple weeks ago. Out big adventure now is Alli starts preschool on Monday. We had orientation today and she was so excited. Once we got to school you could tell she was a little nervous but I think she will do ok. Brooke is doing great. She thinks she is going to school with her big sis.

Other than that not much to report lately. Will let you know how Monday goes for Alli and mommy.

Catch up for Summer

Well, it has been awhile since I have blogged. I guess i will start with the Riggs Decathlon.
It was June 27th (the hottest day of the year so far). We had a great showing a people come out this year and I think everyone had fun despite the heat. Everyone made it through all 10 events. The trophies didn't stay on Riggs this year but there is always next year.

Next we had 4th of July. We had a party to go to on Friday and then had a few friends over at house for wings and fireworks.

This week is the 4-H fair and Alli has been waiting for the horses. The big day of showing and jumping was Wed and of course it rained but we didn't let that stop us. Alli got up and said "mommy I am not scared of a little rain. the animals at the fair like the rain. Can we please still go?" How on earth was I supposed to say no to that. So, me, Alli, Brooke, my mom, sister, sister-in-law, niece, and even Mike went to the fair. the kids loved it.

Everyone has been doing great. I have added a few pics of the girls that are just them being funny.
